FCRA compliance checklist and assessment toolkit for NGOs

Two automated Excel toolkits that turn FCRA compliance from a year-end filing exercise into a scored, evidence-based view your Board can act on. The first checks whether every FCRA requirement is actually met; the second tests whether your Board and management really govern foreign contribution.

Why a checklist alone is not enough

The FCRA Amendment Rules, 2026 make registration purpose- and State-specific, widen the definition of key functionary, and add ultimate-donor, social-media and detailed activity reporting to Form FC-4. Existing registrants must file Form FC-6F by 21 June 2027.

Most FCRA problems are not a single missing document. They are gaps between Finance, Programmes, HR, Communications and the Board: an activity outside the approved purpose, a State not on the registration, an approval trail that exists only in email. These toolkits assess each requirement for a process, a control, evidence and a named owner, not just "done / not done".

Frequently asked questions

Which FCRA toolkit should we start with?

Start with the FCRA Compliance toolkit ($300) if the question is whether requirements are being met across the organisation. Choose the FCRA Governance toolkit ($500) if the question is whether your Board and management have real oversight, with audit-ready evidence. Many organisations use both; the $700 bundle adds the DPDP toolkit as well.

Do the toolkits reflect the FCRA Amendment Rules, 2026?

The toolkits assess governance and compliance processes (purpose, approvals, controls, evidence and ownership) that sit underneath the 2026 changes. For the specific 2026 changes, read the companion guide, FCRA Amendment Rules 2026: What NGOs Need to Know, on this site.

Is this legal advice?

No. The toolkits are management self-assessment tools. They help you see gaps and organise evidence; they are not a substitute for legal or regulatory advice.

What format is the toolkit, and what do I need to run it?

An automated Excel workbook. You answer the questions and the workbook calculates the scores, dashboards and outputs.

What does the licence cover?

A single-organisation, perpetual licence for a one-time payment. Free v1.x updates are included. Consultants who want to use a toolkit with several client organisations should email casunilkumarfca@gmail.com about a separate consultant licence.

Is support included?

Yes, for using the toolkit. Email support replies within 2 business days. Support covers how to use the workbook; it is not legal, regulatory or governance advice.

Can I get a refund?

Because the toolkits are instant digital downloads, all sales are final once the file is delivered. If a file is faulty, will not open, or does not work as described, email casunilkumarfca@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase and it will be fixed or replaced free of charge.
